A computer game as a data visualizer - a daily reenactment of the total number of USA gun homicides since January 1st, 2018.

The project works from a daily update of gun homicides as scraped from the Gun Violence Archive.

The work is accompanied by a repeating soundtrack, from the first radio recording of "God Bless America" as sung by Kate Smith in 1938. 2018 is the 100th anniversary of the composing of this song by Irving Berlin.

Each day starts at midnight USA central time at 1 death and so on, repeating each day.
The intention is to run the project 24/7 for the next year until July 4th, 2019.
