HOT ART EXHIBITION — is a series of visualizations following the question: What would happen if there would be no air conditioner during an extremely hot summer? This might be the result.

In this unique exhibit, Dostal captures the gradual disintegration of iconic paintings, serving as a stark reminder of the perilous state of our cultural heritage in the face of environmental degradation. Through his evocative artworks, he not only prompts introspection but also sparks conversations about the urgent need to address the climate crisis.

Dostal's work is part of a growing movement among artists who are using their creative talents to shed light on the existential threat posed by global warming. Their collective message is clear: we cannot afford to ignore the devastating impact of climate change on our planet and ourselves.

Indeed, art once again proves its power to stir hearts and minds, compelling us to confront our responsibilities. As we witness the melting canvases, we are reminded that the beauty of our world is at stake. It's a call to action, urging us to take meaningful steps to safeguard our planet and preserve its artistic treasures for generations to come.

Original Artworks by following Artists were included in this project, including: Rene Magritte Edvard Munch Vincent Van Gogh Salvador Dali Piet Mondrian Pablo Picasso Jaques Louis.

Notes

The exhibit did raise awareness, although I am not sure whether or not it made any concrete effects in directly helping the planet.
