Effective actions and how they work Favorite 

This is a short list of some actions widely agreed to be effective, with a few annotations:

* How exactly they work movements - e.g. by making something visible, by prefiguring, by publicizing an idea or general POV, etc. Projects can have several different modes of working.

* Just how effective they are. This is usually very subjective, and a common answer is "unknown." Sometimes, though, we pretty much know something worked very well....
