Express and Create, Solidarity and Support" is a slogan that summarises the aims of HeadSpace, a new, non-profit, artistic magazine that accepts submissions on the theme of mental health. It is entirely run by volunteers and mostly distributed for free in psychiatric wards and other places that cater to people with mental health problems. The first issue was launched in May 2013 in Dublin.

Former colleagues of Abdulhadi Al Khawaja from Front Line Defenders today held a silent vigil at the Embassy of Saudi Arabia in Dublin to urge the King of Saudi Arabia to use his influence with Bahrain to enable Abdulhadi to travel to Denmark for medical treatment.

Protests in Belfast and Dublin after rugby players' rape acquittal

Protests have been held in cities on either side of the Irish border after two Ireland rugby internationals were acquitted of rape. Up to 1,000 people took part in a demonstration in Belfast on Thursday after a jury’s unanimous verdicts on Wednesday in the case of Paddy Jackson and Stuart Olding, who were accused of raping a woman in June 2016.
