Standing Man - Duran Adam 1 Favorite 

On June the 18th 2013 in Istanbul, Turkey suddenly a man appeared on Taksim Square, just standing there.

After more than 2 weeks of peaceful protest against the ruling Prime Minister and his party AKP Taksim Square is still the focus point of attention.

One man appeared, stood there and never said a word. He didn't say Yes nor No, he didn't have a banner, no sign, no identifiable clothes or anything.
However, he very quickly became a strong signal of the protesters - and eventually hundreds joined him, not only in Istanbul but in many Turkish cities.

After many hours he and other bystanders were arrested by the police.
