Hundreds of taxi drivers gathered together on the streets of Mexico City protesting against Virtual apps like Uber and Cabify. They formed a caravan and stopped the traffic for hours, as a way of denouncing unfair price competition.

Notes

Personally, I think this project had no visible effect. Since the protest, more taxi drivers from different Mexican cities have also protested collectively. Because no regulation has been put in place by the government, they started self-organizing and banning Uber drivers from accessing strategic places like bus stations, airports, and street avenues known to be touristic, full of restaurants, malls and hospital parking lots, among others.
