CAPE TOWN – University of Cape Town (UCT) students have stripped to their underwear to highlight their concerns over rape culture on campus.

Dozens of students have gathered outside the Bremner Building to discuss sexual assault and sexual harassment at the university.

They have accused university management of having a lack of concern about the issue.

Demonstrating students are sitting on the steps of the building where they are discussing sexual assault and harassment at UCT.

Some are in their underwear.

Posters are held up reading: ' justice for rape survivors', ' no is not yes' and 'survivors I believe you'.

The students say they are frustrated by university procedures put in place to deal with issues around rape culture.

The discussion got heated when UCT Vice Chancellor Max Price was accused of not answering questions relating rape culture on campus and he then left the gathering.
