La Barbe, meaning "beard" in French, is also an old colloquial expression for "enough is enough!". Known as barbues, the female members are all ages. Any woman is welcome to join.

An anti-Nazi organization called Exit-Deutschland targeted a right-wing Rock Festival in a city called Gera. They got in contact to the festival organizers by using a fictitious name, and they distributed 250 trojan t-shirts with a writing “Hardcore Rebels” during the festival. When the recipients of the shirts went back home and washed them.

On 17 June 2007, a horrific vision was offered to the viewers of the Czech morning program Panorama: instead of idyllic hills, the image of a mushroom cloud was broadcast by a weather camera installed in the Krkonoše mountains, which caused a brief moment of panic in a country that is regularly agitated by debates on nuclear power. The panic wasn’t justified.

... is this for protest? Perhaps. As is described online, it mentions that there was an attempt taken to challenge power relations, specifically between men and women; however, what I find most fascinating about this 'action' is that it 'demonstrates' the discrepancy between the female body as depicted in the painting, The Origin of the World, and the physically present form of Deborah's own body, i.e. genitalia.

Environmental activist Ella Daish has created a giant tampon applicator as part of a protest against single-use plastic. The piece is made out of period plastic found polluting beaches, waterways, and local ecosystems in the UK. Daish sourced 1,200 applicators from 15 different locations across the United Kingdom. Of the plastic applicators collected for the project, 87.5 percent came from one brand, Tampax.

HIV-positive patients can even enjoy a normal life expectancy if treatment is successful. So we needn’t worry about this virus anymore, right? When the activist group Allt åt Alla wanted to highlight the growing inequality in Sweden they decided to hit the road. A Over Class Safari (Överklassafari) was announced and ticket were sold. The bus ride covered both a working area (Fisksätra) and it's close high-brow neighbourhood Solsidan in Saltsjöbaden. Bus travelers were told to bring cameras and also invited to hear speeches about the Swedish class society and it's history.

In a poll organised by the Criminal Bar Association (CBA), 90% of its members backed direct action from 1 April.
