Ghillie Suits Occupy UBS Favorite

The Yes Lab collaborated with "Knobotiq" to design an action against UBS, a financial services giant renowned for aiding tax evaders, funding environmental destruction, and getting bailed out by the public.

The Yes Lab described it as a mix of Occupy Zurich, Reverend Billy and Voina, with the addition of beautiful urban camo gear. They entered the UBS bank and moved around like surreal creatures, arming crawling and making a fuss. Security in the bank was flustered, and continued trying to corral the troupe and kick them out.

This project seems to be part of a campaign with a clear long-term goal. Long-term goals tend to be things like: end racism; end homophobia; make the sun stand still in the sky. A campaign with a long-term goal also needs to have some kind of theory of change.
To expose the malfeasance of UBS in its ties to aiding tax evasion and destroying the environment.

Notes

It used absurd tactics to draw attention to UBS's practices. The impact is not clear.
