DISAPPEARED IN AMERICA is an ongoing project by Visible Collective/Naeem Mohaiemen that uses films, installations, and lectures to trace migration impulses, hyphenated identities, and the post-9/11 security panic. Excerpts of the project have been shown at various venues, including the 2006 Whitney Biennial.

Migrant crisis: Charities make massive peace sign out of life jackets on Lesbos

Charities working on the Greek island of Lesbos have made a massive peace sign out of discarded life jackets to honour refugees who've died trying to cross the Mediterranean. More than 100 volunteers used 3,000 vests to form the symbol on a hill outside the village of Molyvos. More than one million refugees and migrants have reached Europe by sea since the start of 2015.

This was the REX's second debate dedicated to public attitudes towards the institutional treatment of migrants passing through Serbia on their way to Western Europe. Seminar "Human on the Road 2" focused on issues related to some of the negative phenomena happening in Serbian public sphere.
