These projects have long-term goals for change. Long-term goals tend to be things like: end racism; end homophobia; make the sun stand still in the sky. A campaign with a long-term goal also needs to have some kind of theory of change.

On Friday, 30-year-old activist Allie Young will lead a group of trail riders through Navajo Nation to help voters cast their ballots in the 2020 election on the last day of early voting in Arizona.

Young, a citizen of the Diné, or Navajo Nation, has been leading voter registration and other voting and census efforts throughout Indian Country through her organization Protect the Sacred.

Caleidoscópica Violeta, is a creative space for reflection, dialogue, critique, and praxis of pop contemporary feminism. It is also an initiative that seeks to reflect on the role of women in the history of modern art. Historically, the role of women in art has been stolen by the patriarchy. Recognizing this as a feminist artist, I propose this festival as a way to open new spaces for women protagonists in the arts.
