"As of October 2009, Retznei boasts a new centre. In the middle of the square the black contours of a concrete surface stand out, reminiscent of the shape of a pond. If you step on the Platform, you notice that the ground gives slightly and that it sways. Invisibly but noticeably, water reveals itself as a key component of this art work by Michael Kienzer. The water carries the Platform and us, while we are walking or standing on it.

TimCon28 was a scavenger hunt that infiltrated the historic Waldorf-Astoria hotel in midtown Manhattan. Under the guise of attending the "Timothy Convention", forty people explored back passages and service areas, interacted with unsuspecting hotel guests, infiltrated official hotel events like the Annual Disney Service Awards, and solved historic clues that led to birthday cake on the roof.

Penis seats for men

In a conceptually odd but undeniably memorable PSA campaign, the Mexico City Metro has installed a “penis seat” in one of its subway cars, featuring a molded likeness of a man’s torso and penis, to get male riders thinking about the sexual harassment that women endure every day. The seat is labeled “For men only.”

Danish 26-year-old art student Nadia Plesner designed this T-shirt depicting a Darfurian child holding a Louis Vuitton handbag as commentary on global disparity as it relates to war, developing nations, commercialism, and media. In 2006, the fashion house sued Plesner for her appropriation of their trademark. The case was subsequently dismissed.
