“He describes it as a “family theme park unsuitable for small children” – and with the Grim Reaper whooping it up on the dodgems and Cinderella horribly mangled in a pumpkin carriage crash, it is easy to see why. Banksy’s new show, Dismaland, which opened on Thursday on the Weston-super-Mare seafront, is sometimes hilarious, sometimes eye-opening and occasionally breathtakingly shocking.

Enterprising Brooklyn men CHARGING people to see the new NYC Banksy street art by hiding it behind cardboard. Some men in the tough Brooklyn neighborhood of East New York decided to charge admission when a Banksy piece showed up on their block. It was the October 10 addition to the British artist's month-long street art residency he's dubbed Better Out Than In.

On the Internet people only look at pictures of kittens. British street artist Banksy has posted pictures and video of works made during a trip to the war-torn Gaza Strip. One shows a figure reminiscent of Rodin’s “The Thinker” — though, set in a still-standing doorway surrounded by nothing but rubble, the figure seems more distraught than contemplative.
