After French authorities cancelled two climate protests in the wake of the Paris attacks, thousands of would-be marchers kept empty shoes in their place.
The moving installation coincides with the COP21, a climate summit of 195 UN nations in the French capital.

This wonderful campaign of Earth Action Network against mountaintop removal coal mining focused not on the invulnerable mining companies, but on the banks that financed them - and especially PNC, which based its growth model on recruiting university students. It stopped both PNC and then, because of that, ALL banks from financing mountaintop removal coal mining.

Ann Bradley is a passionate vegan. The 60-year-old Silver Lake resident said she wasn’t always, though. “I ate it, I wore it, I sat on it, I went to circuses, the whole thing,” she said.
The project provides somatic rituals to solve the problems of creative makers, offering specific somatic instructions for how to deal with breaks in (or lack of) creativity. Rituals available as a live, interactive performance and as limited-edition chapbooks, and broaden an understanding of creative “results,” “ends and means,” and the idea of a muse/magic as relates to creative labour.
