Sirens of the Lambs is created by the enigmatic street artist, Banksy. This piece was first spotted on the streets of New York City on October 10, 2013, it went viral on social media and people are posting and reposting about it. Sirens of the Lambs is a truck full of stuffed animals – plush cows, chickens, pigs, lambs, bears – that first appeared in the Meatpacking neighborhood of NYC.

In 1984, a group of women in New York gathered outside the Museum of Modern Art as part of a protest. A group show, An International Survey of Recent Painting and Sculpture, was showing 165 artists, 152 male artists exhibited alongside just 13 women. Outraged, they attended the protest, bringing placards and chanting outside the museum. But a handful of women within the larger crowd learned something.

In Jan. 2016 Karl Mattson from Rolla, BC displayed some of his unique sculptures for exhibition at Lantern Gallery in Winnipeg, Manitoba. His 'Life Pods' are sculptures constructed using only found objects.Tools, metal fragments, debris, and fuel tanks are some of the components welded together forming both the solo pod, and the family size pod. The larger pieces were acquired near the pipeline embedding site near to his farm.
