Spearheaded by Latitude Artist Community, Project Easy Access Lexington (PEAL) organized team 'Bricksquad' to help make the sidewalks and streets of downtown Lexington, KY more wheelchair accessible. Armed with only a canvas bag of few bricks, sand, and some tools the teams would make their way through the sidewalks restoring bricks as needed. The damage to the sidewalks was such that the gesture was symbolic more than effectual initially.

This week, I got to make history. At 18 years of age, I received an honorary doctorate from the University of London for my work in climate justice, making me the current youngest holder of the award globally.

Play Safe is a documentary film series created and directed by NYU alum Eddie Einbinder. "Cats Against Cat Calling" began online as a movement under same slogan, powered through Hollaback! Hollaback! is an activist collective seeking to end street harassment. Working through a network of activists in various locations, Hollaback! encourages individuals to stand up for themselves against uncomfortable interactions in public.

Sara Hendren is an Enabler. Hendren's writing, research, and "knowledge-building" propels conversations of ability and disability in such a way that activates a creative dialogue as well as provides a scholarly basis for cultural critique.

In 1932, Rivera was commissioned by Abby Aldrich Rockefeller and her husband John D. Rockefeller Jr. to paint a mural for the lobby of Rockefeller Center. Rivera kept the original, approved plan for the two outer sides of the mural but changed the inner panel to include a critique capitalism. This inner panel ultimately included: Lenin, prostitutes, and the upper class drinking alcohol and covered in signs of venereal disease.
