Last Friday, on May 2nd of 2014, a group called The Student Debt Resistance @NYU hosted its first public engagement at Washington Square Park. The co-creators coined this event Chalk Day. The goal of this special day was to raise student awareness to the massive amounts of debt that they undertake as NYU students.

New York activists responded to a recent anti-Muslim subway campaign by plastering stickers over ads depicting the World Trade Center in flames, juxtaposed with text quoting the Koran. The day-glow orange and yellow stickers warn "Caution: This is war propaganda. You're the target". The ads were paid for by the American Freedom Defense Initiative, led by notorious anti-Muslim crusader Pamela Geller, reportedly costing $70,000.

Our Action: We set up “I’m every Woman” as a 3D street installation. It took place on the Boardwalk, Cork City on the weekend of International Women’s week. Our aims were to promote gender-equality. As a group we identified women as locally and globally dehumanized. We challenged this by honouring women and interacting with people we encountered to celebrate women, both locally and globally.

On December 2014 I've been artist in residence at MANY MINI RESIDENCY a short-term residency program organized by Sarrita Hunn and Ryan Thayer and hosted by GYB BYG in Mexico City. During my 12 hour residency I’ve worked on the case of the 43 students from Normal Rural de Ayotzinapa who went missing while in the custody of Iguala’s police force in September 2014.
