"Street corners are used to maximum effect by British youth homelessness charity Depaul UK in a new campaign created by Publicis London. The idea is to show another side to homelessness to raise awareness of Depaul’s Nightstop–a service which provides emergency accommodation to homeless 16-to-25-year-olds–to recruit new volunteers.

58,241 evictions were conducted in Spain in 2011, mostly through real estate speculation by the Mediterranean Savings Bank. In Intervention #1, the artist created a cooperative through which she contracted a construction worker (who himself had been evicted from his own house) to remove the entrance doors to other foreclosed properties. In this way, houses were accessible and open to public use, and occupants were not liable for housebreaking.

That kind of time is now, in the history of his country. With four vignettes inspired by real-life "ripped from the headline" events, he shows what the great economic expansion of China is doing to the majority of its people.

When the activist group Allt åt Alla wanted to highlight the growing inequality in Sweden they decided to hit the road. A Over Class Safari (Överklassafari) was announced and ticket were sold. The bus ride covered both a working area (Fisksätra) and it's close high-brow neighbourhood Solsidan in Saltsjöbaden. Bus travelers were told to bring cameras and also invited to hear speeches about the Swedish class society and it's history.

Xu Bing, the internationally acclaimed Chinese artist, has brought his “Phoenix” installation to the majestic nave of the Cathedral Church of St. John the Divine on Manhattan's Upper West Side. The two phoenixes, both Feng, the male, and Huang, the female, faced the decoratively carved bronze doors of the Cathedral, as if poised to take flight in the middle of the night.

Olafur Eliasson's latest project Little Sun was first debuted at the World Economic Forum on Africa in 2012. The global initiative is bringing tiny, sunburst shaped, plastic solar powered LED lights to the most marginalized regions of the world. Elliasson calls Little Sun, "A work of art that works in life."The lights are also capable of self renewable energy, which makes them practical and portable to those without proper electricity.
